Expert Forum 2022

Dear EIT RawMaterials Community,

On 27-29 June 2022 in Berlin, the sixth edition of the EIT Raw Materials Expert Forum, Europe’s leading raw materials innovation and education exchange, will connect experts and innovators from various parts of different raw materials value chains.

We will reflect on the EIT RawMaterials project portfolio and will debate new technological advancements and business opportunities, explore industry needs in terms of innovation and education, identify partner interests, and promote matchmaking and consortia formation for project proposal submission.

Our dependency on 30 critical raw materials signals the urgent need to diversify our raw materials and advanced materials supply chains, which will boost competition and innovation and will make Europe’s industrial ecosystem more resilient. We must together establish strong collaboration within Europe and non-EU countries, and invest in responsible and circular raw materials value chains, from extraction to materials and product design to recycling.

This year, and following your expectations, we introduce a pitching session to present proposal ideas at theExpert Forum. You can select this opportunity during the registration process and select the favorite session(s). Please use the pitching template (you can download it during the registration process).

Also, you will have the opportunity to arrange individual speed-networking meetings on the EIT RawMaterials Matchmaking platform, which will be open to look for one-to-one meetings now.
